This very big
bedroom has a twin bed for a couple and one other bed in the
corner a bit apart under the roof for a child who is
travelling with his/her parents.
In the room there is a washbasin which offers some privacy.
There is also a little round table and chairs in case the
guests would like to play cards, have a drink or eat a snack
before going to bed.
If there are two children the room is big enough to add
another small bed in the same room under the roof.
As a matter of fact
parents like their little children in their own room. For
the kids it offers more security in a strange environment.
Older children have the possibility to stay in another small
bedroom a third bedroom on the same floor with one single
bed. The room is big enough to add another small bed in case
there are two children.

This is the nicest
bedroom of the house, view on the garden. There is a double
bed and some seats and TV. The room is very big, so you can
relax, have a snack or a drink, read a book or watch TV
before going to bed.
Next to this room
there is a small room (dressing) with washbasin which offers
some privacy to the guests of bedroom 2. We have added a
single bed for those who have taken a child on holiday.
So there are two big
bedrooms on the first floors for two couples and there is a
possibility to have children in the two smaller bedrooms. |

two washbasins, a tub/shower and a toilet are in the
middle. The main colour is blue. It’s a big bathroom, clean and warm. The
shampoo and bath soap are available and a hand towel. Since marine and Louis
have more or less moved to the flats I the centre it’s impossible to offer and
wash all those towels. Most people prefer using their own. In case people forget
towels there are some in the cupboard in the dressing.
On the ground floor there are two other toilets and a separate shower. |

Breakfast is served
in the big living room on the ground floor. In the morning.
Normally Louis serves continental or English breakfast. He
makes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, whatever. At arrival
guests express their wishes.
Guests can watch
television in the living room if they want.
For those who have
booked a longer stay the kitchen can be used in the evening
for a family meal for example.

Has been built in 1974 and is very big. The seventies were the golden years
even for people like Marianne and Louis, who were teachers.
Most of their colleagues had a big house, a big garden for
their big family and friends. Times have changed now. The
house is for sale since a end of April. Difficult times now
for young people with crisis and high mortgage but well, one
day Marianne and Louis will find a buyer. Till then the
house is cleaned and warm for guests.

is very beautiful in
summer of course but even during colder days you can have a
stroll. In the back you can go to a small wood which leads
to an alley. If you take this alley, you come in a small
sleeping village Donk, with two pubs, one good restaurant, a
church and a chemist. It’s worth visiting.
